The graduating class from Biloxi High School has been offered 424 scholarships valued at more than $5.7 million, the largest amount ever offered, school leaders say.

The class will receive diplomas this afternoon at 2 during a ceremony at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

The 424 scholarships include a number of military appointments, presidential scholarships, athletic scholarships and national merit scholarships.
