Biloxi High library now offers E-books
5/14/2009

Thanks to a Biloxi First grant, students at Biloxi High School now have 24/7 access to Novels for Students.

The service, known as "E-books," is an electronic copy of a 27-volume reference set offering rich analysis, context and criticism on the most frequently studied novels.

Each entry focuses on one novel and includes an introduction, author’s biography, plot summary, characters, themes, style, historical context, and critical commentary.

Using this resource, students will find authoritative, accurate, and current content with which to conduct their research. Multiple students can access the same information simultaneously from any computer with an internet connection.

Novels for Students as well as 65 other books in the electronic format may be accessed from the school's online library catalog. Students should see the librarian for the password for use from their home computers.
