Biloxi Public Schools will hold registration for summer school on Monday, June 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Biloxi High School.
The session is open to students currently enrolled in Grades 8 to 12 in Biloxi Public Schools.
Cost is $50 for one semester (half a credit) or $100 for one year (1 credit).
Summer school will run from June 3 to June 30, with sessions from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Biloxi Public Schools also will offer a driver’s education class this summer. Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon for students enrolled in Biloxi Public Schools or from noon to 2 p.m. for out-of-district students, as space is available. The class, which costs $150, will run from June 2 through July 10.
School board to meet this afternoon at 5
The Biloxi School Board will meet today at 5 p.m. at the DuKate Building. Among the items on the agenda: status reports on revenue collections and the expansion of Biloxi High School, recognition of the Biloxi High School Drama Department, a report on the Excel by 5 program, and discussion of the district's facility-use rates and policies.
