Parents of students at Beauvoir, Gorenflo and North Bay Elementary schools have a chance to learn more about their child’s day and their teachers in meet-and-greet sessions planned for this evening.

Beauvoir and Gorenflo will host parents night this evening at 5:30, and North Bay will conduct its parents night from 6 to 7:15 this evening.

Biloxi High and Biloxi Junior High both hold back-to-school nights for parents on Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m.

Enrollment: Enrollment figures at Biloxi Public Schools are bouncing back. The district has enrolled 301 students since Aug. 5, bringing the total enrollment to 4,694 in line with last year's figures. To see enrollment figures before and after Katrina, click here.

All-stars: The Biloxi Little League all-star team dropped a 7-6 decision to East Texas this morning, meaning the Mississippi state champs have been eliminated from the regionals in Waco, Texas.
