Band boosters to sell T-shirts at Seafood Festival
9/11/2009

T-shirt logoThe Biloxi Band Boosters will be selling commemorative T-shirts to mark the approaching 150th anniversary of Biloxi Public Schools during this weekend's Biloxi Seafood Festival.

For details on the seafood festival, which takes place on the Biloxi Town Green Saturday and Sunday, click here.

The boosters are raising money for a planned trip to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year's Eve.

The T-shirts, at $20 each ($2 extra for extra-large sizes), will be sold at all home football games and at all band fund-raising events. The artwork displayed on the front and back of the shirts is shown at right.

On Sept. 19, the boosters will host a giant yard sale at 2388 Grants Ferry Drive. The sale will begin at 6 a.m. and run until all merchandise has been sold.

On Sept. 26-27, boosters will host a Burger Burn fund raiser at Wal-Mart on Pass Road. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, boosters will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and nachos.

T-shirts also will be sold at the yard sale and Wal-mart gatherings.
