Picayune game moved to Biloxi
9/24/2009

Biloxi Athletic Director Tom Gladney reports that the weather continues to alter the fall football schedules.

The 7th and 8th Grade football games scheduled for this evening at Picayune have been moved to Biloxi High School stadium.

The 7th Grade game will kickoff at 5 p.m., and the 8th Grade game will begin about 6:30 p.m.

The 8th grade team sports a 4-0 record.

Said Gladney: "Make plans to come out and support the Indians!"


Biloxi High to host financial aid night

On Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m., Biloxi High School will host the annual Financial Aid Night.

High school counselors will be available to answer questions or schedule personal appointments. All parents of seniors are encouraged to attend the program, which will be held in the school cafeteria.

Tyia Brooks of the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Southern Mississippi will give an overview of the financial aid process.

Annette Matherne of the Biloxi High Career Center will make a presentation on the scholarships available to students and the college application process.


PTO seeks orders for Indians license tags

The Biloxi High School PTO is currently taking orders for Biloxi specialty license tags.

The tags will feature the Biloxi arrowhead with Indians written across the bottom of the tag.

The tag is $31 and must be ordered by Oct. 9. The PTO must have 300 pre-paid orders to have the specialty tag made. Order forms are available at Biloxi High School.
