The Biloxi High School Air Force ROTC Drill Team kicked off its drill season with an overall first-place finish at the George County Regional Drill Championship.

The competition consisted of 15 teams from Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Among the Biloxi highlights:

--- A second-place finish in Unarmed Exhibition Drill, commanded by C/Maj Allegra Missildine,

--- A second-place in Female Squad, commanded by C/Lt Col Jeanece Kelly,

--- A second-place finish in Male Color Guard, commanded by C/Lt Col Charles Shoemake,

--- A first-place finish in Female Color Guard, commanded by C/Maj Allegra Missildine.

--- A first-place finish in Mixed Squad, commanded by C/2Lt Destiny Hunter.
