Lt Col Joseph P. Nastasi
BIOGRAPHY
Lieutenant Colonel Joseph P. Nastasi is the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor(
SASI-July 1998), Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet Group MS781, Biloxi High School, Biloxi Mississippi.
He entered the Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) program, United States Marine Corps, on 7 March 1969 while attending Southeastern Louisiana University. He graduated from Officer Candidate School, Quantico, Virginia on 28 August 1970 and was released from the Marine Corps on 23 November 1971 when he was selected to attend Officer
Training School, U.S. Air Force, with follow-on pilot training. Lt Col Nastasi was commissioned from OTS, Lackland AFB, Texas on 21 March 1972 and received his pilot wings on 20 December 1972 from Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Lt Col Nastasi is a command pilot with over 2600 flying hours. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is married to Dr. Deborah Fetter Nastasi, also from New Orleans, and they have two daughters, Mrs Kelly

Hurburt Field, Florida whose husband, Capt Brad Roundtree is a pilot and flies
the AC-130U
gunships,
and Ms Kimberly Nastasi,
of Biloxi, MS who is the CEO of the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.
